Toy Story 4 has made £92 million in its first weekend as it smashes US Box Office Charts.

Pulling in a huge sum of $118 million across the US, the new film falls slightly behind it's predicted takings of $140 millions (£109 million).

However, it has been revealed that the Toy Story 4 has made £186 million across 37 different countries.

And despite fan's fears that the fourth instalment would damage the film series' reputation, it seems that it impressed film critics everywhere following it's release on Friday.

According to 'Uber Facts', Toy Story 4 now holds the record for "biggest opening weekend" for an animated film.

They tweeted: ""Toy Story 4" has already grossed $238 million worldwide. It now holds the record for "biggest opening weekend" for an animated film."

While Tom Hanks and Tim Allen returned as Woody and Buzz for the fourth installment, they were also joined by the a few new actors, who voiced new characters Forky, Ducky, Bunny, Duke Caboom, Harmony's mum, Gabby Gabby and Bitey White.

Tony Hale, plays the role of 'Forky', a plastic fork with pipe cleaners for arms who has a bit of an identity crisis since he's more of a craft project.

Ducky and Bunny, two carnival prizes, are part of the new movie and they are voiced by Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele.

Meanwhile, Oscar-winner Patricia Arquette plays the role of Harmony's mum, Christina Hendricks voices Gabby Gabby and Betty White stars as Bitey White.

Another interesting addition to the film series is new toy Duke Caboom, played by Keanu Reeves- who revealed some intimate details about his role during an interview with ABC news recently.

He said: ""Duke Caboom, Canada's greatest stuntman. He's a daredevil. He's got a really good heart, brave."
